The WBCVC was formed by Dave Mills following 10 years of successful LRF shows initially established by Dave working closely with the local LRF fundraising team (including Dave, his wife Pam, Don Giles and Don’s wife Pat). The WBCVC was intended to meet the demand for a locally based club and to provide additional help for the show, the organisation and running of which is no mean feat. The WBCVC is still organising the annual show and Dave Mills continues to help in a consulting capacity. The new show organisers hope to build on the huge success established by Dave and thank him for establishing such a popular event. The show chairman and also chairman of the club is Les Taylor.
The WBCVC meet on the second Monday of each month at The Bowlers Arms in Enborne Street, Wash Common, Newbury, Berks RG14 6TW.
