Banbury Road, Gaydon
This year’s display vehicles are all pre 1987, providing a colourful step back in time for all the family. As a two day show, about two thirds of the display vehicles, including over 50 lorries from the ‘Steel Boys’ arrive by the Saturday afternoon and the remainder arrive early on the Sunday morning. So to ensure you see all there is on offer a two day ticket is ideal, if you can only make one day then the Sunday is your best option to see all of the vehicles.
Inside the Heritage Motor Centre is the Gaydon Model Truck Show. There are over 160 tables of models displayed at this part of the show, both kit built and scratch built. There are many different scales of models including some that are working radio control models; these will be showcased at a number of mini demonstrations on both days, inside and outside the main building.
The Centre itself is also home to a Museum showcasing over 180 historic British vehicles. Visitors can uncover the story of the British motor industry from the 1890’s to the present day, with fun and interactive exhibitions. There is plenty to see within the museum itself and if you visit all the areas of the show you will need the weekend to walk around and see everything.
Please note that the entry date for display vehicles this year has now closed.
Doors open at 10am
